I had a pretty good sense, shortly after I graduated law school, that I wanted to be a plaintiff’s lawyer. I wanted to represent everyday individuals who are fighting, usually against the odds. When I feel like I’m fighting for a family member, which is usually how my clients feel to me, as family members, it’s…The motivation is so strong and so intrinsic. Even if we get knocked down along the way as we’re litigating a case, I’ll dust myself off and forge ahead.

What drives me day in, day out…What motivates me to get up…I know that I represent human beings when they may have had nobody else to fight for them. I’m thinking about them. I’m thinking about what is in their best interest.
